Odey Armstrong, MSW, RSW
Registered Social Worker

Being present and non-judgemental, holding space for courageous conversations, gaining a greater sense of self, cultivating healthy relationships, finding purpose, and exploring ways to thrive, are all at the forefront of Odey’s work supporting teens and young adults as they journey through the messiness of life.

Odey is an African Canadian Social Worker that comes from a culturally rich background and has lived in diverse international communities. She has a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Manitoba and a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto, specializing in children and families. Odey has over two decades of experience working with youth and families. In more recent years, she has been drawn to working with teens and young adults seeking to reach their full potential despite masked yearnings. Currently, Odey holds a school social work position in a public school board.

Odey tailors treatment and support in collaboration with each individual using evidence-informed planning methods and pulling from various therapy modalities. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Compassion Focussed Therapy are primary modalities of practice. Odey is a registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

Aside from the lifelong learning as a Social Worker, some of Odey’s greatest teachers are her children. She lives in Toronto, Ontario with her husband, two children, and their pets, Pumpkin and Bean.

“ It has been a privilege working with the teens and young adults in my professional life. I extend a warm welcome for you to connect. It would be an honour to work with you.”
- Naa Odey Armstrong
