Psychoeducational Assessments

These comprehensive assessments help build a clear picture of a child’s learning strengths and challenges, including attention, early learning and academic skills, and thinking abilities. They are often useful for school planning and identifying appropriate supports.
Neurodevelopmental Assessments
(Including ADHD and autism)
A clearer understanding of attention, executive functioning, social communication, and developmental differences helps guide appropriate supports at home, school, or work.
Adult Psychological Assessments
(Personality, mood, diagnostic clarification)
For adults seeking clarity around emotional patterns, personality functioning, or mental health concerns. These assessments can support self-understanding and next steps in care.

Assessment Fees & Practical Information

  • All assessments are customized, based on individual needs and presenting concerns.
  • The information below is a guide to assessment fees; pricing is finalized following an initial consultation with your clinician.
  • Sliding scale is available, as needed.
  • Check with your extended health insurance for the opportunity of reimbursement.
  • All assessments consist of an intake session, testing session(s), interviews with parents/teachers/other observers, questionnaires, a feedback session, and a written report.

Comprehensive Psychoeducational (English or French)

for children aged 6+ to university age

KaZa‘s comprehensive psychoeducational assessments provide families with clarity and insight into their child’s learning and development. Areas covered: learning disorders and learning disabilities, social and emotional concerns (e.g., anxiety, depression), and attention and executive functioning concerns (e.g., ADHD).

  • 2-3 testing sessions (2-3 hours each)
  • French assessment reports are provided in English (accepted by all school boards)
