The KaZa Team

Marcy Barton
Marcy Barton is the administrator at KaZa and brings a wealth of experience in psychology and health services. She holds both undergraduate and master’s degrees in psychology and spent over 10 years at the University of Toronto working in health services research, where she developed strong organizational and management skills.
Since starting a family, Marcy has worked part-time as an educational assistant supporting students with special needs at both TDSB schools and Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. She has also held numerous volunteer roles within her community.
As a mother of three, including a son with autism and a learning disability, Marcy has extensive personal experience navigating academic and community supports. This gives her a deep understanding of the challenges families may face and a compassionate approach to her work.
In her free time, Marcy enjoys traveling, cooking, and cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays.
