Nadia earned a master's degree in clinical psychology and is currently completing her supervised practice year towards registration as a clinical psychological associate. With over 25 years of culturally-aware client-centred work, Nadia's experience starting out as a grade-school teacher through working with survivors of intimate-partner violence and their families has shaped her to value strength-based approaches. Her training in therapeutic modalities includes Narrative Therapy (NT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectic Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). Her therapeutic style is guided by the belief that building self-awareness and collaborating with the client are essential to developing healthy coping strategies and overcoming barriers.

Nadia has extensive experience in providing comprehensive psychoeducational and developmental assessment services to children, adolescents, and young adults presenting with difficulties in the areas of attention, behaviour, anxiety, Autism (ASD), and socioemotional functioning. She applies evidence-based assessment and intervention strategies to support children and their families. She engages in school and community advocacy past the assessment stage to ensure that families access the support available to them.

Nadia's commitment to her clients is evident in her culturally competent services and integrative approach. A life-long learner, she is dedicated to applying research and adapting empirical approaches to meet the needs of her clients. Nadia welcomes the opportunity to work with children, adults, and their families to achieve their goals.
