Nellie holds an undergraduate degree in Visual Arts and a second degree in Psychology from York University. She earned her Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Adler Graduate Professional School and is currently completing her Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD).

With more than 20 years of mindfulness practice, Nellie is a certified coach and holds a certificate in Mindfulness Training for Emotional Resilience (MTER). She is also a certified trauma-informed therapist and has served as a clinical associate to a child psychiatrist specializing in ADHD, mood disorders, and autism spectrum disorder.

​

Her areas of expertise include comprehensive ADHD assessments, executive coaching, and therapy for adolescents, college students, and adults. She has a particular focus on ADHD in women, the impact of ADHD on relationships, and the treatment of comorbidities such as mood and personality disorders.

​

Nellie’s therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, integrating mindfulness, and existential inquiry. She applies evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), complemented by creative strategies, to strengthen executive functioning and well-being and to foster resilience.
