Maria Huerta, B.A., M.Ed.
Psychotherapist
Maria Huerta is an Indigenous Mexican who has resided in Canada for over 2 decades and has worked extensively in the mental health field. She is a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario with a Master’s in Education. She has worked at the University of Zacatecas in Mexico as a University Professor for the School of Psychology, teaching a range of courses in Psychology, Neuropsychology, training staff in organizational psychology, alongside managing her own private practice. Following a move to Canada in 2004, Maria has worked as a Family Therapist and supervisor at The Native Child and Family Services of Toronto (NCFST). She now runs her own private practice in Hamilton and offers various workshop throughout the GTA.

Cathy Hibbert
Educational Consultation
Cathy is an Independent Educational Consultant who is passionate about neurodiverse students. She believes every student is capable and has a pathway to success. She has a wealth of knowledge about Toronto private schools that particularly support diverse learners. Cathy also works with students to find the right post-secondary school. As a certified IEC, she has learned about many programs in Canada and the U.S., where neurodiverse children reach their full potential.
